What permissions should be used for uploading files?

Files should be uploaded with permissions 644, folders - with 755.

If you are uploading files with permissions 777, they will not be processed by the server due to security reasons.

We do understand that a few scripts might require 777 to work smoothly. In this case, please submit a ticket to our support department and we would gladly assist you.
