How to add or create ftp accounts in Plesk panel?

FTP is used to transfer files from one host to the other over the internet. To create FTP account in the Plesk, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Login to the Plesk control panel with the username and password.

Step 2: Select FTP Access

Step 3: Click Add New FTP Accounts.

Step 4: Under General, provide FTP account name.

Step 5: Enter the Home directory path for the FTP account. This will be the default home directory.

Step 6: Provide the strong and secured password for the account. Retype the same password in the Confirm password field.

Step 7: You can also give the Read and Write permissions for the user by enabling the required check box.

Step 8: Then click OK.
