What are private name servers & how do I create them?

Private name servers are DNS name servers that are associated with a particular domain name. For example if you are the owner of domain “mycompany.com” then you can set name servers as

ns1. mycompany.com

ns2. mycompany.com

In order to create private name servers, you need to create two records at the registrar end where the domain is registered with associated IP’s provided by your web hosting provider as

ns1. mycompany.com

ns2. mycompany.com

You can input the name server name and IP address through your account and this information will be submitted to the Registry.
